I've been down with Shawntae since "Funkdafied". Like I legit knew all the lyrics and thought I was a rapper. My mom used to side-eye the mess outta me. But I was all like YAAASSSSSS SHAWNTAE! I felt all the girl power tease my little life could handle but I was young so I didn't realize that she was a damn trailblazer!
