Aubrey is on his Beyonce and "Nothing Was The Same". In celebration of his mixtape, "So Far Gone" Drizzy released both a short film, 'Jungle' [watch it: here], and laid a 17 track golden egg, "If You're Reading This It's Too Late". His latest project, a la KING BEY, was released without warning and his fans were ecstatic. Although there was much speculation surrounding the potential forthcoming release of a mixtape so were we truly surprised? Not really. The only shock was that instead of a free mixtape he just tossed a whole full length ass album on iTunes like it was nothing. That's MAJOR. Especially being that his fourth studio album, "Views From The 6", is expected later this year. Either way, in little to no time at all, websites were crashing and twitter was abuzz with both praise and disdain: clear signs of success.
I don't know about you but Aubrey has been on a roll and all of his releases have been exactly what OVO Sound has needed to get put on the map and stay there. The label head's project boasts guest appearances from Lil Wayne, who is still perpetually shackled to Cash Money, Travi$ Scott, and PARTYNEXTDOOR. I'm somewhat flabbergasted as to why Onika wasn't on here. Their chemistry is unbelievable but there is a Tyga diss sprinkled in there and that' s all I'm going to say. You'll have to listen to the album for yourself.
