ICYMI: Missy Elliott - "WTF (Where They From") Feat. Pharrell

Missy Elliott just dropped a new track and I've never been so happy to get new music in this new age world of Igloo Australia's and Macklemore's. I missed Missy. Her, L Boogie, and Lil Kim were the BUSINESS! Hell, back in the day female MCs were giving us everything, from MC Lyte to Left Eye and now they're giving us all flash and no substance. Congrats. Your ass is huge, all of your shit is expensive, and your face is beat. Meanwhile your lyrics are trash, your albums don't sell, and you can't perform live to save your life...but you're a performer. Weird.
And ahead of the game she is! Missy just gave us a new track AND a visual. Talk about making my damn day! Watch the video below:

ICYMI: [WATCH]: Adele - "Hello" Video

Dammit Adele! I was hellbent on being irate with your insubordinate ass for presenting me with an album you preposterously named "25" even though you're releasing it 17 years later but you had me at "Hello"...how fitting? Everything that you are willing to offer, Goddess Vocalist of the Most High, Supreme of the Musical Coven, may be laid upon my alter. This musical year has definitely been an 'American Horror Story' whilst you traipsed your ass abroad not giving a hot red cent about us over here suffering, having ne'er a song to listen to besides those filled with whispers, screams, and trap queens. Welcome back, Queen. Address the peasants as you see fit.
Love you though I might, Your Highness, I shan't refer to this album as "25", it will either be "25 + 2" or "27", which I gladly accept as tribute. Hell, at this point, I thought we'd be naming this album "Adele: Songs from the Afterlife". Watch the video below (she has Tristan Wilds as her love interest, and I mean, doesn't that make the video that much more interesting?):

"Hello" is online NOW and "25 + 2" will be in stores and online [Pre-order: here] on November 20th!

ICYMI: [WATCH]: KekePalmer - "I Don't Belong To You" Video

So, you know, I know I wasn't the only one who saw the snap of Keke and Cassie making out. Mind you, be that though it may, homosexual or otherwise, I was like
Because Cassie is bae AF and Keke would be too if I didn't feel all old and pervy (yes, I know she's 22 but still...all I see is Akeelah).
At any rate, they have me questioning my sexuality whilst Keke slayyyyyyys life with her sultry vocals. I've always liked her as a singer. Anywho, watch the sexiness below:

"I Don't Belong To You" is available online NOW!

This month's artist spotlight goes out to Florida’s own Acafool (pronounced Ak-A-Fool) is embarking on a major journey this summer with his latest anthem, “Go Head”, which he released a video for just this past week. [WATCH]: Sevyn Streeter - "4th Street"

As a writer, Sevyn Streeter is an unstoppable force of nature. As an artist, however, Sevyn never really amazes me. She's gorgeous and her voice is beautiful, but it almost feels as though she reserves her best work for other artists. I understand having to put out that fire when you're attempting to get your name out there but you're out...USE THE FIRE FOR YOURSELF GIRL! That being said, I'm from Florida as well, so I love to see artists show love to their hometowns and humble beginnings. The follow up to "Don't Stop The Fun" [Listen: here/Watch: here], "4th Street", both track and video, have definitely earned my respect.
Listen to the latest track, 4th Street, off of her upcoming album, "On The Verge", and enjoy the video below:

ICYMI: Bobby Brackins Feat. Zendaya & Jeremih - "My Jam"

The Zendaya and Jeremih assisted Bobby Brackins joint "My Jam" has been taking radio by storm and the trio recently released the single's video which featured the gorgeous Kayla Phillips and a montage of beautiful people of color in sunny Puerto Rico. Amen! This track is definitely made for club hopping and convertible riding. Zendaya sounds amazing on the hook and Jeremih is as smooth as ever. Bobby Brackins penned my ratchet life anthem "Loyal" so I know that greatness is always in store when he's behind the project.

[WATCH]: New Video: Jill Scott - "You Don't Know"

Jilly from Philly is working on her fifth studio album and from the sounds of video depicting the single "You Don't Know" it's going to be an amazing one. It's been a whopping four years since Jill's last release and although I love her acting debuts I'm ready for the next chapter in her musical book.
Watch the emotional video below (clearly her love for acting is reigning supreme):

ICYMI: [WATCH]: Ciara - "I Bet" Video

After the release of her acoustic rendition of "I Bet" [Watch it: here], I awaitied with bated breath for the release of the actual video. Ciara, per usual, expresses her emotions through dance, and I am floored by the sheer intensity and the brilliance behind her movements. It's beautiful, classic, and inspiring, just as a pink music box with a dancing ballerina was for every little girl that owned one. It symbolized hope, freedom, and dreams coming into fruition. As she embarks on the painful journey of life without the father of her child, Ciara uses "I Bet" [Read the review: here] to lure us into her life and share a part of her with us. It's touching, raw, and the realest I've ever seen her. "I Bet" is the lead single for her upcoming album, "Jackie", named for her mother. I can't wait to see what else Ci has in store for us!

New Video: Ariana Grande - "One Last Time"

Following her performance at the NBA All=Stars Halftime show, Ariana Grande released the much anticipated video to her latest single "One Last Time". The video, directed by Max Landis gives me "the bombing of District 12 from Catching Fire" tease and I think that's what she was going for. An apocalyptic ending of the world. She even had former 'Victorious' co-star Matt Bennett as her love interest which excited every tween in the world. A perfect ending for Robbie and Kat.
I guess in the midst of turbulence love really lifts us up where we belong...watch the video below:

Video: Sevyn Feat. Chris Brown - "Don't Kill The Fun"

After releasing a "behind the scenes" video, Sevyn Streeter has dropped the official video for her latest single "Don't Kill The Fun" [read it: here] and it is undoubtedly nonstop fun. The video is a whirlwind of fast cars, pretty girls, and an underground rave. Definitely all of the ingredients needed to create a night of endless fun. Breezy, who is featured on the track, directed the video as well as co-starred. Well isn't he just multi-talented? And what CB video is complete without a "Breezy dance break"?

New Video: Sam Smith - "Lay Me Down"

Sam Smith made quite a statement in support of gay marriage and equality with this latest video, "Lay Me Down", the most recent single from his debut album, "In The Lonely Hour" [review]. In the video, he is shown marrying his husband then mourning his (untimely I'm assuming) death. The singer took to Instagram to share with fans a message about the video:
Well there you have it ladies and gents. Straight from the horses mouth. Watch the beautiful video below and bask in the vocals the he is SERVING:

New Video: Meek Mill Feat. Big Sean & ASAP Ferg - "B-Boy"

Meek Mill has yet to release any official music since his freedom from the confinement that is prison and today he dropped a video for his single "B-Boy" which features Big Sean and ASAP Ferg. I'm not even sure why this ratchet ass song has me hype as shit right now but my guess is because ASAP Ferg's verse is dope AF! His flow is sickening.
Rahmeek and Sean did their thing too. I'm actually awaiting the release of all three of their albums this year. Check out the video for "B-Boy" below:

New Video: Kanye West - "Only One" Starring North

Kanye debuted the video to his latest single, "Only One" [review], on Ellen and it is starring the beautiful North West. If she isn't the CUTEST thing ever! Ugh! With her surly ass facial expressions. She's too funny.
When asked of his newest album, yet to be titled, the rapper responded, “We’re still trying to find the vibe. There’s this transition from what I felt when I did "Yeezus" to what I feel now and we’re just creating, so we haven’t found it yet.”

Watch part of the interview and his new video below:

I can't wait for his new album because "Yeezus" was life packaged as an album, wrapped up with a bow.
