My first encounter with The Pretty Reckless was "Make Me Wanna Die" which was AMAZING and the video was even better. I mean it was a little strange to see "Lil J" from 'Gossip Girl' rolling around on a table in next to nothing but the artistry was definitely there. Besides I likened it to if Courtney Love and Joan Jett were to have a love child it would be Taylor Momsen. She would've been perfect playing Cherie Currie in 'The Runaways'She has the teen angst and heavy eyeliner coupled with passionate rock down to a science.
LMFAO Taylor is so apologetically PERF. She really doesn't GAF what people think and that's the best way to be. She does what she wants and as they all hate she's literally like
In marches "Going To Hell", the sophomore effort from the band, and definitely a different sound for them -- more edgy and laden with puns. I'm a fan of double entendres and lyrics that could mean something different to every listener.  "Light Me Up" was an awesome album but I like "GTH" just as much because the growth in their artistry is so apparent. They utilized several genres on this project while maintaining their rock roots. They even have acoustic songs on the deluxe version of the album --- we all know how much I LOVE acoustic songs!!!
