[LISTEN]: New EP: Ester Dean - "MISS ESTER DEAN"

Songwriter Ester Dean, who has penned hits for a slew of artists including THEE entire holy musical trinity: the Father (KING BEY), the Son (QUEEN RIH), and the Holy Ghost (EMPRESS ONIKA) has just released an EP entitled "MISS ESTER DEAN". The project consists of six tracks and has a bit of something to make everyone happy. "Keeper" will get lots of play in the club scene while "Jealous" leans more towards the contemporary. "Any Other Way" brings a much needed pop feel to the album while "That Girl" is the always loved cliched independent "hurt" woman's anthem. Her voice sounds AMAZING and though I've never been a fan of cursing in songs..."F*ck  It" and "New Sh*t" sound really good and just may be the best on the project. Doesn't change how I feel about women cursing and they aren't rappers...

But don't let my prude deter you. If cursing doesn't bother you then you will love this entire EP because it really does sound great. Listen to the stream below and see for yourself:
