Over the course of years, Jennifer Lopez has worn many a hat: dancer, actress, singer, ICON, etc. and has successfully dabbled in many musical genres. As such, it is only fitting that the revitalized pop diva switch hats once again, dropping her dance floor diva persona of last album "Love", and creating a maturated version of the urban pop, ghetto glam style of her first albums. The result, "A.K.A.", is surprisingly plentiful and ambitious, creating a segue for her hot beats and beautiful melodies. This project is overflowing with features --although she could've kept Igloo Australia--, and JLo, with her unparalleled swag, merges all of the musical sounds she has experimented with over the years, in an awe-inspiring, confident attempt to recapture her place atop the ICON throne. Say what you want about her but JLo is one helluva performer! I used to get hype just watching her Kohl's commercial! She may not be a vocal powerhouse but she can sing, dance, and put on one hell of a show.
