December is clearly the month of surprise releases, no Beyoncé. Her impact though! Unfortunately, everyone is NOT Beyoncé, try though they may. Luckily for Miguel, this release was on Soundcloud so there is no real way to gauge whether or not this release would serve to blow up in his face, as so many other's who tried to emulate KING BEY. We all know it could've ended in tragedy, much like
"Wild" has a sound that unquestionably is meant to steer you towards the direction for his upcoming release. It's different but still gives you the Miguel you've come to know and love. All in all, though it doesn't quite provide you with the long awaited follow up to 2012's "Kaleidoscope Dream", it really is the next best thing to keep him both relevant and the fans wanting more. Especially with the (undoubtedly purposeful) abrupt ending to "Coffee", you come to the unsatisfying realization that ten minutes most certainly wasn't nearly enough. He's very cleverly playing with emotions.
