L.A. Reid Allegedly Snags Mariah Carey

Mariah Carey and L.A. Reid are "allegedly" back together again, huh? Well. I have mixed feelings about it...and I'll tell you why. Of all the artists on Epic's roster who can we honestly say isn't a flop?!? Sure they may be KNOWN but knowing them and buying their music is two totally different things. And to make matters worse, outlets are reporting that MOTHA Mariah was denied her request for a 3 million dollar advance and far be it for me to assume that they thought she wasn't worth it. THEY KNOW SHE IS WORTH IT. Can Epic even AFFORD it? I mean look at what they're churning out...their chart activity is next to nonexistent. Mariah deserves so much more. L.A. Reid? Yes. Epic Records? And don't get me started on Vegas. Few survive the musical cesspool that is Las Vegas. Hopefully, her talent and tenacity will overcome the torturous abyss that is the career ending city of lights, the city of broken dreams and lost fame.
