Sam Smith, Ariana Grande, & Taylor Swift Lead iHeart Nods

Sam Smith, QUEEN Ari, and TayLORD Swift have topped the iHeartRadio Music Awards nominations list with 5, 4, and 4 nominations, respectively. All 3 managed to score an "Artist of the Year" nomination which is absolutely deserving being that Samsus' "In The Lonely Hour" [review], QUEEN Ari's "My Everything" [review], and TayLORD's "1989" [review] were on my Top Albums of 2014 list [review]. I loved all of their albums and they are heavy in my musical rotation. TBQFH, EVERY single album on that review should be purchased so if you haven't
Other artists that had multiple nominations include KING Bey, Chris Brown, and John Legend. I believe Igloo Australia did as well but
The Second Annual "iHeartRadio Music Awards" will be broadcasted live from the Shrine Auditorium in LA on March 29th.

ICYMI: Beyonce - "7/11 (DJ Mustard Mix)"

I honestly can't even fully explain why I have this resounding love for "7/11" that comes with such a finality it's impossible to make me feel otherwise. Then DJ Mustard wants to slay me with this super remix that gives me all the house and EDM tease?!? Who doesn't want to spin while their hands are up?

Listen to "Mustard on the beat" below:

ICYMI: Beyoncé Releases "Yours And Mine" Short Film

Beyoncé ended the year, in celebration of the one year anniversary of her self titled visual album "Beyoncé" in true Beyoncé fashion. KING BEY reflects on life, love, happiness, family, fame, and being a feminist in betwixt touching cameos by Jay Z, Blue Ivy, and Solange, to name a few.
As I watched the film, encased in the growing rapture that Beyoncé entombs us within using the very essence of herself, I felt not only a connection to the person she exudes but an even greater connection to MYSELF. How does she do that? Bring forth the greatness that may (or may not, semantics really) be buried deep within a person and unsheathe it so that you become the best version of yourself? All without ever even meeting her. Just wow.
If you have not partaken in this blessing bestowed upon us from the lips of the MOST HIGH, Beysus, herself, then click, watch, consume, and bask in the glory as it is rained down upon us from the Heavens.

Album Review: Beyonce - "Beyoncé (Platinum Edition)"

I have the strongest aversion to repackaged albums but couple that with an irrepressible fascination with Beyoncé and here I am...writing a review. It helps that although 3 of the 6 tracks were previously released I had only heard one. When KING BEY first dropped "Beyoncé" I was nothing short of amazed. My review was that of stunned admiration, a respectable disbelief of the sheer talent and audacity trapped inside one immortal being. As such, and knowing I couldn't do the original "Beyoncé" any more justice than previously written I shall place the link here for your viewing pleasure ["Beyoncé" track-by-track review] that you will read before continuing because yes, I am that good, and it's worth a detour.
At any rate, I'm continuing down the rabbit hole into the magical land of "Beyoncé" wherein she expects us to continue breathing no matter how many times she musically gut punches us or snatches us bald.

Check out my "track-by-track" review of the "more audio cd" of "Beyoncé Platinum Edition":

1. "7/11"
I have no fucking clue what's happening. I don't know what she's saying, no idea what she's talking about, and after watching the video I have no inkling WTF she's doing. But that's ok. Because it's Beyoncé. She has clearly been marching to the beat of her own drum for over a year now. She's going to hand us anything and we'd better take it. This track is like a lemon we bought from a used car salesmen. It's AS IS. Take it or leave it. I took it but I'm still on the fence. I think it's best that I get drunk and just vibe.
2. "***Flawless remix" (Feat. Nicki Minaj)
I think I gave this track alone 4 or 5 posts already lol so here are the top three. Read, enjoy, and relish in the aura that is KING BEY and EMPRESS ONIKA.
3. "Drunk In Love (remix)" (Feat. Jay Z and Kanye West)
Kanye could've kept this shit. Beyoncé had no business forcing this upon her many doting patrons. This is 7 minutes too damn long. Unlike the ***Flawless (remix) this did not enhance my life, it made it exponentially worse because, unnecessary.
4. "Ring Off"
Empowering message, underwhelming vocals. This is the anti "Single Ladies". At this point you've had the ring and you're coming to terms with your worth and realize you deserve better. Cool. So you took the ring off. I'm not really a fan of the instrumental but it could be worse. At least there's a message and she's not just spinning in a circle and kicking to and fro or whatever TF she was going on about.
5. "Blow (remix)" (Feat. Pharrell)
I wasn't a fan of the original "Blow" but I have to admit Pharrell makes the track slightly more tolerable. Nothing, however, can rid the song of that ghastly 70s, Roll Bounce tease that I am not, and nor will I ever be here for but hey, it happens.
6. "Standing On The Sun (remix)" (Feat. Mr. Vegas)
If you like reggae music you'll like this song. It's like The Maturation of "Baby Boy". They are definitely two sides of the same coin. I can see her slaying this live like
Sadly, I was hoping for a Beyoncé and Rihanna collaboration or a second EMPRESS ONIKA collab but I guess that will have to wait. Or it may just be wishful thinking on my part. Honestly, I thought Queen Adele was going to make a cameo but Beyoncé was just up to her usual witchcraft and wizardry going on pointless ass public dinners overseas just to tease us. She ain't shit for that. She better TF be on Adele's album or I'm rioting.
If you already purchased "Beyoncé" then I would suggest you just cop the additional items. Especially if you're interested in her live performance DVD. But if you're in the "Hive", i.e. Everyone in America, then buy the whole damn box set and add to her sales...it's only right. After all, somebody has to dethrone the sales of Taylor Swift...

"Beyoncé Platinum Edition" is in stores and online now!

"Break The Net": Beyonce vs. Kim Kardashian

There seems to be an ongoing battle (fan made, I'm sure) between the Knowles Coven and the Kardashian Clan on exactly who can "Break The Internet".
To keep you up to date the "viral feud" began with Kim K and her Paper Mag nude cover
Then Solange released her wedding photos.
Kris Jenner quickly shot back with an all white photo shoot with her daughters.
THEN Kim took photos with mannequins which was hilarious and sleighed. Well played, Kimmy.
Last but certainly not least, Beyoncé released her homemade "7/11" video that, in short, is fun, carefree, and clearly has broken the internet:

At my count it's Knowles: 2, Kardashian: 3. I'm not on anyone's team so I can view this with little to no bias. Hate as much as you like but the more you @ them to yell about your fave the more impact they're having on "the net". DUH.
This feud may or may not be fan made but I'm loving the slay thats being served on both sides. Let's see what else they have in store for us.

Kim, the ball is in your court.

Oui Oui! Beyonce Et Nicki Minaj À Paris? ***Flawless

EMPRESS ONIKA and KING BEY. WTF?!? They CLEARLY don't care about my livelihood. Why else would they deem it acceptable to traipse their asses upon a stage TOGETHER and sleigh so hard my ancestors got chills?!? Hell, I felt the intensity of that performance deep within the depths of my unoccupied womb. I try sooo hard not to stan for these women yet I can't help but recognize this unprecedented greatness as history unfolds before us. I need something to calm my nerves. Onika and Bey got me like

I shall be telling this with a sigh, somewhere ages and ages hence: two bad bitches diverged on a stage, and I, I got my edges snatched, and nothing was ever the same...

The Beyonce Chronicles: Before, During, And After The BeyMAs

Ok guys I was gone for a minute now I'm back with the jumpoff *Lil Him voice* I wanted to post my take on the BeyMAs on Monday but I was dead to the bed y'all, fr fr. Anywho, I'm here now and better late than never, right? If you don't agree then too damn bad. I will split the BeyMAs, accordingly, into before, during, and after Beyonce...because her performance was central to the existence of the entire show.

BEFORE BEYONCE

Queen Ariana brought her non dancing ass out there and SLEIGHED thee entire FUCK outta the vocals on "Break Free" you hear me?!? I was up in the rafters shouting!

Then EMPRESS ONIKA brought her teasing ass out there all of damn near nekkid letting bitches hump on her like WTF IS LIFE RIGHT NOW?!? WHAT IS AIR?!? That muthafuckin white chick with the cornrows is a gahtdamn professional! I tip my hat to her ass because given the opportunity to hump Onika, any and ALL choreo woulda flown straight out the window. Chhh...

To make matters worse Le Empress came back out for "Bang Bang" with ne'er a stich o' undergarments beneath her unfastened ass dress. When I tell you she was holding on to that dress with every bit of life she possessed?!? I was CRINE! I lowkey wanted her to let go but I knew she shouldn't. Jessie J makes me uncomfortable but as a unit they fucked that performance UP!

Some other people performed but I honestly blacked out until Onika came back onstage for that awkward ass performance with Usher. I personally don't like the song and cut it down to just her verse so that I never have to endure the torture of that song and certainly not a live performance. It's just so uncomfortable to watch, what with him being so glaringly homosexual. Like why would he ever bump his head on her butt??? I'm schleep. And when he gheyly slapped her butt she looked like she wanted to punch him dead in the throat.

DURING BEYONCE

Let me start off with the disclaimer that I am not a member of #TheHive. That being said KING BEY came dressed as the Sistine Chapel and bestowed upon us all of the blessings that God saw fit for us to recieve. His will was done and my cup runneth over. She performed every song from her album, with choreo, with LIVE vocals, without sounding short of breath....this bitch is truly a mythical creature. Like she can't be real. I'm no stan BUT after watching this performance I can understand how one gets caught up in the rapture and ambience that is in and of Beyonce. Lest we forget the slayyyage that is the incomparable BLUE IVY

AFTER BEYONCE

Pikachu Tran took it upon herself to allow Black EMBARRASSMENT Network to use her as a vessel of dumbassness and parrot a dry ass tired Blue Ivy hair joke. So this what we're doing now!? Attacking defenseless toddlers and shaming little black girls about the natural state of their hair on a channel that's supposed to be devoted to the empowerment of our people? Oh. And using a MIXED BITCH to do it?! If that wasn't 50 shades of dumb AF I don't know what is. Then Karicature got her ass online all flustered and apologetic. She should've been flustered and apologetic to 106 as she explained why TF she didn't read what was on the teleprompter. I woulda put on the Floyd Mayweather filter quick as shit!

Then Stephen Hill released a tired ass apology on twitter after Kilimanjaro, 106, and BET tired of their faces being drug off. You know The Hive is ruthless. Apology not accepted. And suddenly 106 is on a hiatus. Surprise, surprise. I'm sure The Carters hit up The Man Upstairs for a favor like "Ayyye God. Handle that."

Last but certainly not least is Tamar, who stepped in the line of fire and got her ass drug by The Hive too. She posted on IG defending her edgelessness and put HAVE in ALL CAPS like who TF you coming for? You still going back and forth with K Michelle like a dumbass but why the CAPS? And anyways if you're gonna prove you have edges I need a current selfie. Not no old ass pic from a year ago. Bye girl. At any rate this was made and I cried real tears:

I'm officially writing this from the hereafter.

STOP THE PRESSES! Beyonce & Nicki Minaj collab?!? Holy Mary,Mother of Jesus!

KING BEY and EMPRESS ONIKA...BITCH WHEEEEEETTTTT?!? The rumor mill has churned out the possibility of a collaboration between this dynamic duo on the ***Flawless (remix). Listen here dammit. I don't think God would be so cruel as to murder me at this ripe young age. But then again...God got a virgin pregnant by magic. He's clearly not playing by the rules. Le shrug.

It is also rumored that YONCE is going to sneeze on the beat and yep I'm sicker. I also neeeeeed ONIKA to sleigh me with her vocals, you hear me?!? I love her singing voice just as much as I love her rap verses. I don't even really understand what they're doing to my spirit right about now. My life is in complete and utter shambles. The shit ain't right. And if this track doesn't happen? Dawg...
So whatever powers that be that need to be consulted...God, THE Illuminati, Scientologists...IDGAF just get er done! There's ne'er been a duo that can top this shit right here. KING BEY said it best
